My Philosophy: “Real Life” Over Poses

As a parent myself, I know exactly how fast time moves. You blink, and the kids are taller. Those small, everyday moments—the way your kid grins when they think no one’s looking, a quiet morning at the park—are the ones that end up meaning the most. I know how important it is to have these pictures for later, to remember how life was, not just how it looked in a perfectly staged photo.

That’s why I specialize in a candid, relaxed approach. This philosophy is the foundation for all my work, whether it’s a family session in the Edmonton river valley, a couples shoot in Beaumont, a newborn session in your Leduc home, or capturing the candid moments of a small event. My goal is to make you feel comfortable enough to be yourselves. The best, most genuine photos come from real interactions, not from saying “cheese.”
